My four year old daughter Charlie loves to dance, so I was excited to be included in the Sandylion Jazz/Ballet review! I received 2 sheets of the "Music Notes" paper, and 2 different sticker sheets - "Jazz" and "Ballet". The 12" x 12" sheet of "Music Notes" paper, was filled with different music notes in various shades of purples, and pinks on a black background. I would say the weight of the paper was medium to light, however it sanded very nicely. The "Jazz" sticker sheet was a mixture of dance words, phrases, and pictures like music notes, stars, and dancers. I was immediately attracted to the beautiful dark teals, deep purples, and pretty pinks of the stickers and many of them also had a black glittery background which really made them stand out! The "Ballet" stickers were extremely cute as well and were very similar to the Jazz stickers in shape and size, but the colors are a variety of light to dark pink, surrounded by a sparkly black that sets them all off. I loved how some of the words on both of the sticker sheets came in different fonts and were plain - while others were slightly raised and glittery!

I have been holding off on scrapbooking a picture of my daughter dancing, because it was a little blurry and the background was somewhat distracting. When I saw the Sandylion Music Notes paper, it gave me a cool idea. I matted the Music Notes paper on a sheet of black cardstock, and then added a piece of cardstock in the middle for the base of my layout. I printed my picture out on plain white cardstock, and then used colored pencils and twistables to color in the background of the picture, making sure to match the color in the Music Notes paper. Then I decorated the cardstock and photo with the Jazz stickers and added a little journaling!

I decided to create my first 6" x 12" layout for my second project. I had a lot of fun just using the cute Sandylion Ballet stickers and some buttons to frame my three pictures. I added a little bling, some rub-ons, and accents with a glitter pen to complete the layout.

The Dance Collection from Sandylion is a small but versatile collection. I was sent two sheets of the "Music Notes" paper and two sticker modules, "Ballet" and "Jazz" to coordinate with it. The "Music Notes" paper has purple and pinkish musical notes on a black background. The "Ballet" stickers concentrate more on the pink part of the color scheme with ballerina images, roses, more music notes and ballet related words and phrases. The "Jazz" stickers have a purple/blue color scheme with just a little pink to accent.

This collection was created, obviously, for ballet and jazz dancing pages. I found its use went beyond however, with my page about a 4-H talent show. I used the word stickers "perform" and "on stage" from the "Jazz" sheet as well as some of the musical notes and stars. It was perfect for this musical act performed at the show by my teens.

Vicki Baum, the great author, once said, "There are shortcuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them." There are so many moments in my life when I'm dancing around in my kitchen with my kiddos following along creating whatever goofy dance moves they can think of. The Sandylion Dance Collection can help to capture those moments.

For my review I received two sheets of the Music Notes patterned paper and the Jazz and Ballet sticker sheets all from the Sandylion Dance Collection.

For both of my layouts I used the stickers and for "All That Jazz" I used the Music Notes patterned paper for my background. The sticker sheets both include a title block, two music staffs, three dancing images, music notes, roses or stars and then word stickers. I like that the stickers have glitter on them and they have clear edges so they do not show any white borders. The only problem I had was with my Ballet Stickers sheet. The dancer stickers were not scored completely so I ended up stretching the sticker and ripping off one of the legs of the dancer. I was able to still use the sticker and the rip is not very visible. I did not have this problem with the Jazz stickers sheet.

If you have a dancer in the family, or someone who just likes to dance, Sandylion's Jazz/Ballet Collection is a treat you'll want to try!

My supply for this review was limited to one patterned paper called "Music Notes" with a black background and music notes in pink and purple providing the colorful pattern, and one sheet of Jazz and one sheet of Ballet stickers. The sticker sheets are well planned with a selection of word strips, images of dancers, stars, roses and music notes and a title block all included.

Although I had a limited selection of product to work with, I knew just the picture for them. Here is a scrapbook page I did about my daughter's recent dance recital.

Supplies:
Cardstock (Prism "Intense Cobalt")
Patterned Paper "Music Notes" and Jazz stickers (Sandylion)
Brads (American Crafts)
Ribbon (May Arts)
Adhesive (Ad Tech Permanent Bond Glue Runner

The "Music Notes" patterned paper has a flat matte finish, but the bright pink and purple music notes standing against the black background work well to draw attention.

Both sticker sheets are high quality with Sandylion's trademark sparkle and glam that I love. They give a wonderful look and feel to your page.

I'd recommend these products for young children, teenagers and adults alike. It's just a fun collection that is so easy to combine to make a great scrapbook page in minutes.

Sandylion is a well established scrapbook company specializing in themed scrapbook products. They carry scrapbook papers and stickers in almost every theme one could imagine, suitable for almost every occasion. Not surprisingly, Sandylion has a collection for the dancer in your home.

For this review, I received two sheets of the Music notes paper, a music oriented paper which has a black background, with pink and purple musical notes throughout the paper. I also received the Ballet sticker module, which features ballerinas and ballet dance related phrases in the soft pink family. In addition, I received the Jazz sticker module, which showcased jazz dancers and Jazz dance related word stickers in the fuchsia and purple color family.

As would be expected of all Sandylion products, the quality of the paper was excellent. The 12" x 12" paper is a regular weight paper, with vivid colors throughout the paper. The stickers were perfectly blended for the paper. Most of the stickers are on a clear backing, making them suitable for layering on your scrapbook page.

For my project, I chose to use the Music Notes paper along with the Jazz sticker module. The rich colors of the jazz stickers and music notes paper work extremely well with the black and white picture. Initially, I thought that the patterned paper colors would make it difficult to find a suitable color cardstock to use as a base. However, I was very pleased with the way the paper blended with the plum paper. In addition, the clear background on the sticker made it useful to layer over my picture to balance the right side of the layout.

Products used: Black and White Cardstock (Prism Prismatics)
Scalloped Cardstock (Die Cuts with a View)
Patterned Paper (Sandylion)
Sticker (Sandylion)
Letter Stickers (American Crafts)
Bling (Heidi Swapp)
Adhesive (Adhesive Tech, Permanent Bond Glue Runner)

Overall, the quality of the Sandylion paper and stickers was excellent. The colors are vivid and easy to use. They work particularly well with black and white pictures. However, I would have like to see more variety in papers with the dance collection. If you are scrapping a little dancer in your family, this collection is one to consider.
