I recently received a number of stamps to review from a company that I had never heard of: Lasting Impressions with Panache. I’m always interested in using new stamps, so this review is right up my alley. After checking out the Lasting Impressions with Panache website, I became even more interested and excited about getting my new stamps.

The Lasting Impressions with Panache stamps that I received all came unmounted, but one can choose to order them mounted as well. After mounting the stamps on the EZ Mount foam that Sunday International so generously supplied, I couldn’t wait to begin using them. The images that I received were all beautiful and unique. They are all red rubber stamps, which are very deeply etched and extremely detailed. I received the following images: Happy 4th, Patriotic Hat, two sizes of Kokopelli with Flute, small Southwest Scene, a small Lizard, Large Cactus, Medium Dolphin Scene, Polar Bear and Cub, In Case of Emergency, and Artful Coffee Cup. Such a wide array of images, it was hard to decide just where to begin!

While I really love the Southwestern images that I received, I was working with these stamps at a crop, where I didn’t have any pictures that would work with the Southwestern stamps. I did, however have some Fourth of July pictures with me, and I decided to use the Fourth of July themed stamps for my first page. I love the way the Happy 4th image stamped. The lines are very small, but wonderfully crisp and clear.

I have to confess – I’m not an avid stamper. I like stamps, and I like to stamp. But I don’t do it as often as I should, considering how many stamps I own and how much I like the effect when I do stamp. I guess I just don’t think about using stamps when I create, unless I set out to do some “stamping.” So, I was very happy when I learned I would have the chance to receive and review some rubber stamps. Hooray!! A good excuse to think about and actually DO some stamping!!

I received an assortment of eight red rubber stamps from Lasting Impressions with Panache as well as a sheet of Easy Mount Static Cling Mounting Foam (from Sunday International) on which to mount them. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the rubber stamps. The rubber is nice and thick, and the designs are unique, realistic and finely detailed. The detail of each stamp makes stamping with them such a pleasant experience. No disappointing images that don’t come out “just right” with these stamps!

The large palm tree was the perfect stamp to use on the background cardstock for this layout. While at CHA, Andrea, Pam and I could not resist taking our photos in this “Malibu Barbie” stand-up cutout. The palm tree image coordinated well with the palm tree paper and the palm tree in the photos. I also used the sand dollar stamp to add some texture to the chipboard “palm fronds.”

Flowers (Crafta Frame, Home Grown Bloomers)

Adhesive (Adhesive Tech, Permanent Glue Runner)

I love the cup and saucer stamp. It coordinated so well with the coffee talk paper from Flair that I could not resist using it to create a fun thank you card. I stamped the image using chalk ink and created the “steam” using a white galaxy marker.

I was completely happy with how these stamps performed. My stamped images are crisp and clean and every detail shows. I also visited the Lasting Impressions with Panache website and I can tell you that the variety of images in their stamp inventory is unsurpassed. I am sure I’ll be visiting often to add to my stamp collection!

Panache is defined as "Dash or flamboyance in manner or style." The stamps from Lasting Impressions with Panache definitely have a flamboyant style that is eye-catching and creative.

The Lasting Impressions with Panache stamps that I received were:

All of the rubber stamps arrived trimmed and unmounted. The images were trimmed neatly but some areas had more excess rubber than I like to keep on my stamps so I trimmed a few areas a little tighter. I used the EZ Mount from Sunday International to mount the stamps. Once I had the stamps mounted with the EZ Mount System I could use thems with acrylic blocks.

With the wide range of stamp sizes and themes I was able to create a wonderful array of projects and cards. For the first project I created a little Christmas ornament and card. Using the Merry Christmas Star tag stamp I created the ornament. I used the Wish for Peace stamp for the card. When I embossed the stamped image I was able to color it in with the Pearl Ex Watercolors.

Ink (Versamark Pigment Ink: Black; Ranger Big and Bossy: Clear)
Embossing Powder (Ranger: Adirondack Red Pepper, Clear)
Watercolor (Jacquard: Pearl Ex)
Stamp Mounting (Sunday International: EZ Mount Stamp N' Stor System)
Adhesive (Adhesive Tech, Permanent Glue Runner)

For my second project I created a layout with the fun Heart Goddess stamp and the Swirling Design stamp. I stamped and embossed the Heart Goddess stamp and then cut it out so it can be placed to frame the photo. The Swirling Design was stamped on the paper I journaled on.

Lasting Impressions with Panache stamps are made of sturdy red rubber with detailed designs that produce clean, crisp stamped images. The stamps can be purchased mounted or unmounted from Lasting Impressions with Panache's website. I received six unmounted stamps for this review:

The images are very girly and so fun to work with!

I mounted my stamps using EZ Mount which was generously donated by Sunday International. This is my preferred way to buy and store my stamps.

It was a tough choice deciding which stamp to use first but I chose the tulips stamp for my first project.

I wanted to work with the super cute ladies' accessories stamps - the purse, hat and high heel shoe. So flirty and fun! I created a card using the hat and high heel shoe stamps. I thought they worked wonderfully with the "Red Hat Society" theme.

The unmounted stamps included in my review range in price from $3.15 - $6.65 each. They are big enough to accent a scrapbook page or be a focal point for a card.

I have been familiar with Lasting Impressions with Panache's products for some time and continue to be drawn to their unique and whimsical designs and their beautiful scenic stamps as well as their vintage stamps.

Accessing their website, Lasting Impressions with Panache, you will be able to browse through hundreds of stamps that are divided into over 35 different categories. Many of the stamps also show a colored version to give you even more inspiration.

The Lasting Impressions with Panache stamps are very high quality with fun, fresh and detailed stamp images. The stamps clean well and store easily. I highly recommend them.

Do you enjoy stamping on your cards and layouts? Do you have a favorite type of stamp to use? Wood-mounted, unmounted, rubber, acrylic, foam? I thought I had my favorite until I was assigned this review.

Lasting Impressions with Panache is a mother/daughter owned rubber stamp company that offers both mounted and unmounted stamps. “All of the stamps are made with carefully selected a light colored, close-grained, Eastern hard rock maple for their mounts,” as stated on their website. From Alphabets, Flowers, and Backgrounds, to Purses, Shoes & Hats, Sea life & Fish, and Wacky, Whimsy & Zany, this company has it all.

I received 7 unmounted stamps and some EZ Mount from Sunday International to work with. I had never used unmounted stamps before so when I saw the package I was not sure how to make it happen. The directions are on the EZ Mount that makes it so easy to use! The stamps had such great detail and were so fun to work with.

I couldn’t resist using these images on both pages and cards. Being a shoe lover, I started with the shoe and phrase – Thank Shoe – for a card. I added a little chalk to the stamped image and it made the image POP off the page!

"Thank Shoe"

I wanted something to accent my title on a memorial page I was creating for my Grandma. I chose the cute – detailed – heart. With a simple red ink it gave a defined look to help draw your attention to the title.

Patterned Paper: The Paper Loft
Ink: Versa Color and Stampabilities
Stickers: Dooblebug
Stamps: Lasting Impressions with Panache

Lastly, I used the Sun stamp to create a background paper with a watermark pad. I really enjoyed the subtle look this brought for a fun couple of photos of my daughter on Easter.

I found that I love these stamps and the variety of images offered. The prices are reasonable and make using their product manageable for the budget. I will likely be getting more of these in the future!
