Review by RandiThe Possibilities by kolette Collection from Colorbok is a delightful assortment of "so cool" shades of blue and green and "red hot" shades of red, yellow, and orange. There are a wide variety of products available in this collection. The elements of this collection that I worked with were the 12" x 12" Punch Out Pack," "Mixed Media Pads," "Novelty Albums," and "Transparency/Paper Pack."
I couldn't resist starting with the Punch Out Pack and Mixed Media Pads. The Punch Out Pack contains both the "hot" and "cool" colors and is an acid and lignin free pad full of all sorts of goodies including
- 1 sheet of quotes
- 2 sheets of monogram alphabets
- 2 sheets of circle alphabets
- 1 sheet of border strips
- 2 sheets of tags
- 2 sheets of frames
- 40 pattern papers
When I say tags, I mean TAGS! These delightful, oversized gems are great for computer printing to include your journaling.

The Punch Out Pack comes in a 12" x 12" size and also a mini album in 8" x 8" size. While there are enough products in the Punch Out Pack to keep one very happy, Colorbok has expanded the options even more with the coordinating "Mixed Media Pad." This comes in the cool colors and the hot colors, each pad sold separately. Each pad contains 336 pieces with stickers, tags, rub-ons, alpha punchouts, and word & quote vellum sheets. Colorbok has made it so easy to mix and match! I included several of the additional elements from the Mixed Media Pad in the next two layouts.

Expanding the use beyond the page was easy too. I created this gift frame and envelope using the kolette Collection. This came together so quickly!

The front of the Punch Out Pack boasts that it is "enough to create an entire scrapbook out of one pack." I believe they are correct! There are so many goodies included, and they coordinate together so easily that I got a bit carried away! You'll find several other creations of mine with the "Punch Out Pack" and "Mixed Media Pad" in the ScrapFriends Colorbok Gallery.
Another option with this collection is a Transparency/Paper Pack. It contains ten 12" x 12" transparencies and coordinating pattern papers. The transparencies contained delightful sayings with a wide option for varied use. This one quotes Emerson and reads, "It is a happy talent to know how to play."

The last product that I worked with was a "Novelty Album." These mini albums have a cut-out cover, ribbon closure, and contain twelve pages. The Novelty Albums are sold three to a pack (your choice of "hot" or "cool") and measure in at about 2 1/2" square. It doesn't sound like much room, but one can pack some great memories into these little albums! I had a lot of fun with my four-year-old daughter in creating our "Zoo" album. I printed photos from a recent zoo trip using my printer's "proof" option. These mini photos were perfect to put through the "X" Xyron to make them into stickers. I cut a couple of the border strips from the "Punch Out Pack" into more narrow pieces and fed them through the "X" as well. This gave us self-adhesive elements that she could just stick down. We created this album in a little over an hour. She felt like a big girl scrapping with Mommy, and it was a fun activity to do together.

It is easy to see why this collection is called the "Possibilities" collection, as the ideas just kept coming. I enjoyed this collection so much that it was hard to put it away to move on to my next review! I heartily recommend the "Punch Out Pack, "Mixed Media Pad," 'Transparency/Paper Pad," and "Novelty Albums" in the Possibilities by kolette Collection. I'm sure you'll be inspired, as I was, to happily complete many layouts for your albums.
Review by AndreaColorbok offers a very diverse product line working with award-winning designers to bring the best to its customers. The team worked with the Possibilities by kolette Collection in the "So Cool" and "Red Hot" color combinations. As you can imagine by the names, the So Cool color palette is one of blues and greens and the Red Hot palette is reds and oranges. The So Cool patterns are mixed with white tones to convey a watercolor feel while transitioning from dark blues or greens to light ones. The dots in the pattern are even non-uniform and look freshly painted!
I received 2 color printed 12" x 12" transparencies with matching patterned paper from the So Cool family. The transparencies are a good weight, not tearing or creasing easily which I like. There was also a So Cool Brag About Kit in the package and a Novelty album that looked like a large matchbook. The Brag About Kit is an all-in-one package containing EVERYTHING you need (except adhesive) to create a mini album. It has a 4" x 6" file folder shape with 6 double-sided pages, so enough to make 12 mini layouts. All the doo-dads you can imagine are included: spiral clips, mini brads, tags, frames, ribbon, 3D stickers, domed stickers, alpha stickers, rub-ons and paper! Everything color coordinates and complements one another in style. A great little kit that's easy to complete in an hour or two.
Working with the transparency was easy and it matched perfectly to the patterned paper. I used the entire transparency because the layout I had in mind was a natural fit for it! There is a "friends" poem printed on the transparency in dark brown and the word "friends" is written along the right side of the piece. There are multiple circles painted in shades of green randomly around the transparency as well as brush strokes. A very easy subtle pattern is the result. The transparencies and matching paper that I received are included in a Transparency/Paper Pad of 10 different designs for $14.95.

The Brag Book was the next project that I started. It was one of the easiest projects that I've worked on lately! It truly has all of the embellishments and paper that you'll need to complete this mini album. I accented the pages with some matching Distress Ink for a little extra coloring on the white pages. I also added one of the fibers included in the kit to the tie string since my album got a little fat after adding the embellishments!

I had a great time working with the materials in the Possibilities Collection. I love the colors in both packages and believe that the So Cool kit can be used for many themes, from boy to water to wintery type of pages. The Brag About Kit is a great kit for a gift to a scrapbook friend or for your own mini book needs. Get a couple to put in your stash in both color schemes so that you're covered! I would definitely get the transparency and paper pack too - you'll get a lot of mileage out of it! Recommended!
Review by RachelColorbok has released a new collection designed by award winning designer Kolette Hall. The name of the collection is in honor of its designer: “kolette.” I received the Red Hot Journal Kit, a novelty album, two sheets of patterned paper and two transparencies.
I loved putting together the Journal Kit. It went together so easy and is beautiful when put all together. This kit is all-inclusive. I did add a few embellishments and things to mine but you don’t have to at all! This kit includes:
- 2 – Acetate Covers
- 10 – 5" x 7 ˝" pages
- 24” of ribbon
- 3 metal rings
- Bookplate and brads
- 1 decorative tag
- 5 woven tabs
I was able to put this journal together in about 8 minutes. The covers are made of acetate and the 3 holes are reinforced with eyelets. That is done for you when you receive it. The pages in this journal are glossy on one side and dull on the other. They are made to be dividers and are quite sturdy. The hardest decision I had to make was in what order I wanted my woven tabs. The woven tabs have adhesive on them already. Be very careful when taking the protective paper off the adhesive because the adhesive will come with the paper if you are not careful. The trick I used was to take my fingernail and rub it over the paper before taking the paper off the adhesive. Once I did that I didn’t have any issues with the adhesive coming off on the paper. The only thing I would have liked to have is a bit more ribbon. I love ribbon and thought that there was not enough ribbon in the package. This kit retails online for $11.95. I added a few things to personalize my journal. I placed flowers above the bookplate and ended up using my own brads because I lost the brads that came in the package. Those little things just disappeared. I also added my name on the inside cover which shows through the cover.

The next project I did was using the novelty album. These novelty albums come in a package of three and retail online for $4.95. They are 2 ˝ by 2 ˝ inches in size. They are perfect for mini albums or even journaling on a layout! The cover is a glossy covered patterned paper. It has a window in the front that allows you to personalize it with an embellishment, rub-on, sticker, or even your own writing. It is tied shut with a ribbon. Inside the album, there are six double-sided pages. These pages are white Bazzill cardstock. The albums come all assembled for you. All you have to do is fill it! I decided to use this album to write down ten things I love about my daughter. I wrote them in my handwriting and then decorated the album. I will only show a few pages here so be sure to check out the rest of the pages in the ScrapFriends Colorbok Gallery.

As you can see, I love the beautiful colors in this line. I also love how easy using and putting together my projects were! These products are great for beginners and advanced scrapbookers. The beginners will love the ease of use and gain confidence in their abilities. These products are very economical and yet maintain the high quality of other Colorbok products. The advanced scrappers will also love the ease of use and have wonderful fun personalizing their projects. I give these products a high recommendation.
Review by CathyColorbok has a terrific line "Possibilities" by Kolette Hall. This line is fantastic. I was able to make 6 beautiful pages easily. I received a Red Hot Embellishment Page Kit. The kit makes up to 6 scrapbook pages with:
- Six 12" x 12" Papers (these patterned papers resemble painted pages with a whitewash distressing. Some have printed borders, the vibrant yellow, reds and oranges are beautiful).
- 72 inches of ribbon: yellow and red grosgrain and a tiny red ric rac
- 15 stickers including tags and printed quotes
- 8 medium sized red brads
- 7 decorated frames: (these are fantastic)
- 5 tags great shapes in sizes perfect for journaling or titles
My first three pages utilize the patterned paper, tags, quotes and decorated frames.

All 3 layouts use the following products: Colorbok- Possibilities (Red Hot Embellishment Kit)
Stampabilities: Alphabet;
Stampabilities: Black Ink;
Adhesive Tech: Permanent Glue Runner
I also received two transparencies and papers from the Transparency Book. These transparencies are really easy to use. They are elegantly designed and have a coordinating background paper. I love the pages I created with these two transparencies. I definitely would purchase more of these. This layout utilizes a background page from the Transparency Book and a Novelty Album.

I really love miniature Novelty Albums. They are perfect for mini albums for school pictures, journaling, gift tags or as an embellishment for a scrapbook page.
The Transparencies have a subtle design that looks like it was stamped. The layout below shows the beauty of the transparency.

I definitely recommend the Possibilities Collection by kolette for beautiful, easy to put together scrapbook pages. The collections are sophisticated enough to look elegant with formal pictures and simple enough to scrap almost anything else. I love this collection and would definitely purchase another.
Review by MelanieI've been familiar with Colorbok since I first started scrapbooking 3 years ago. My first album was a Colorbok album, and since that time, Colorbok has been my first choice in scrapbook albums. I was happy to be able to review the line by designer Kolette Hall called "Possibilities". I received a mini album kit that is jam packed with embellishments. The "Red Hot Brag About Kit" comes with:
- a red 4" x 6" mini album with 12 pages
- 12 patterned papers
- 72 alphabet stickers
- 19 stickers
- 12 page bubbles
- a sheet of rub-ons
- 4 frames
- 4 tags
- 3 3-D embellishments
- assorted brads, ribbon and spiral clips.
All of the embellishments coordinate with each other. The phrases on the rub-on's have sayings such as "embrace life, here she comes, the real you" and seem to be more geared towards a girl theme. The colors and design could be used for any occasion. The mini album has a yellow ribbon that goes through an eyelet on the front and back covers to tie the book closed.
This mini book was perfect for my daughter's fourth birthday party photos. I used the stickers from the kit to spell out her name. I used my own rub-on's for the title "4th Birthday". I used the floral stickers on the cover and added patterned paper.

I used rub-on phrases, stickers, and other embellishments from the kit to complete my book. Below are some of the pages.

This was a fun book to make. It had most every kind of embellishment I would need to complete this brag book. If you like making albums for gifts, this is a great kit to use.
I also received a novelty album from the same collection. The "Red Hot Novelty Albums" in the Possibilities by kolette collection have a unique cover, six textured pages inside and tie closed with a matching ribbon. The album is 2.5" x 2.5" and can be used a number of ways. I had tiny index photos of my daughter's birthday party, so I used them in the center of each page and journaled around the sides of the photos for a fun memorable book. I'm going to mount this smaller book onto a page in the 4" x 6" book for added fun. Below is the cover and one of the inside pages.

Colorbok's collection "Possibilities with kolette" is a fun collection. Both the novelty album and the Brag About Mini Book Kit coordinates well for fun and unique creations. I wasn't able to find this online to give a suggested manufacturer's retail price, so check at your scrapbook stores. I highly recommend these products to both new and seasoned scrapbookers - and of course, those in between.
