The minute I saw these books I KNEW we had to get them for a review to share them with all of our visitors. What a SUPER IDEA! If you are like me you have all sorts of beautiful cards that friends have made for you. It is so difficult to just throw them out, but what do you do with them? Card Memories has the solution for preserving the beautiful creations that your friends have made!

Their card albums come in two sizes, Large albums hold cards up to 9-1/4" X 5-3/4" in size. Medium albums hold cards up to 8" X 5" in size. You can purchase additional card sleeves separately, but honestly, it seems to me that the twenty-five sleeves that come with the album are just about right, especially if you have anything "lumpy" on the cards. There are also a nice variety of colors available.

One of the truly unique features of these albums are the sleeves that allow you to see the front, insides and back of the cards. No more pulling the card out of its protector to enable you to see the inside! At this time I have the cards that I've had published in mine. This is a handy way to see my published work all in one glance! It is even handy for those odd shaped cards such as this tag card.

I plan to purchase at least two more of these albums from Card Memories, as this white one that I have now will be perfect for keeping the cards my husband and I are apt to receive at our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary celebration this summer.

A big "way to go" to Doug and Heather Lovold for their truly unique and practical product that I'm sure is going to be a hit with cardmakers and receivers! I love this! My recommendation: visit their site and order at least three of them!

Card Memories Greeting Card Keeper: A Real Innovation

Greeting Card Keeper by Card Memories is an ingenious concept in storing cards. A high quality, three-ring binder contains 25 unique “Memory Sleeves” for flawless preservation.

Memory Sleeves are the real innovation that makes the Greeting Card Keeper stand out. These exceptional, acid-free page protectors have been created in such a way that they fold in half down the center and allow a card to be inserted between the folds. Thus, a card is completely covered inside and out, and may be conveniently displayed in book format so that as the pages turn, the viewer may enjoy not only the outside of the card, but the inside as well! This is truly a pioneering concept in card preservation, and one that has me wondering why no one thought of this before!

Greeting Card Keepers are available in two sizes – Large (which holds cards up to 9.25" x 5.75") and Medium (which holds cards up to 8" x 5") and come in a variety of colors. They range in price from $12.99 to $16.99. I received the Medium Blue Album. This three-ring-style album has a slight cushion in the cover, and is covered in what appears to be heavy-duty fabric that has a somewhat papery feel. Let me add that the cover job has been completed excellently and with the utmost professionalism. I am also extremely impressed with the quality and durability of the cover fabric. With a toddler in the house, things can get messy in here from time to time – well, my Greeting Card Keeper fell onto the floor, right onto a raisin that had been deposited there by my son. I was pretty concerned about the fact that a sticky dehydrated fruit had been smashed into the front cover of my album, but a quick, brisk scrub with a damp rag and the mess was completely cleaned. Not only is the Greeting Card Keeper constructed incredibly well, it will stand up to frequent handling and even abuse.

If you are one of those people who just cannot throw away cards you receive, the Greeting Card Keeper by Card Memories would be the perfect option for you. The Greeting Card Keeper would also make a thoughtful gift for people who have received lots of cards due to a past illness, a milestone birthday, or other special lifetime event such as graduation, wedding, or retirement.

I personally use my Greeting Card Keeper to store my hoard of "for publishing" cards. If a magazine ever calls for one, I will know exactly where to look, and I am confident that the card will still be in perfect condition. I also have found the Memory Sleeves useful for shipping of cards. I also intend to use Memory Sleeves for display of my cards in local contests instead of the usual Ziplock baggies. At a retail price of $5.00 for a refill pack of 10, they are not terribly priced for such a quality specialty item.

If you purchase a Greeting Card Keeper, one thing to be aware of is that even though refill pages are available, the Greeting Card Keeper was not designed to hold them in addition to the 25 pages that come with it. The packaging and information (which is extremely high quality and comprehensible) makes no claims to the Greeting Card Keeper being able to hold more than 25 pages. I keep very dimensional cards in my album; and with half of the pages filled and half of them empty, there is little space left. I think that the Greeting Card Keeper would hold all 25 easily if all the cards were commercial, flat cards. Just keep in mind that if you want to store dimensional cards, they will take over more than their fair share of space.

In Summary: Card Memories Greeting Card Keeper is a brilliant and innovative idea. Memory Sleeves "the uniquely shaped page protectors" are incredible! Useful for gifts, storage, and hoarding, the Greeting Card Keeper is a professional product at a low price. Thumbs up and recommended.

I was so curious when I saw this beautiful red three ring binder. It has a beautifully gold embossed fleur de leis on the cover and it measures about 8 ½ inches wide by 10 inches long and 2 ½ inches in depth. This D-ring binder is from Card Memories. It is an ingenious invention to hold cards.

They sell two different sizes in four different colors. They range in prices from $12.99 to $16.99. I was surprised that they are so reasonably priced.

We all have those cards that we don’t know what to do with but know that we don’t want to throw them out because they are from close friends, or are homemade, or purely sentimental. This binder is perfect. It holds 25 cards. The fun thing is that you don’t just slide your card in for protection. The special "Memory Sleeves" hold the cards so you can read it without taking the card out of the protector. I love it!!!! These memory sleeves are not like any other page protector they are very tough and durable.

Card Memories sell refill packs of memory sleeves. The prices I have found are 10 for $5.00. These memory sleeves are such a high quality protector that fifty cents per sheet is not a bad price at all. My daughter can look through her birthday cards and I don’t have to worry about her tearing them or getting food all over them! This is a wonderful product. I recommend this product to anyone who loves to save their special cards and loves to be able to look through them every once in a while.

The Greeting Card Keeper is so fantastic that I can not believe someone did not invent it sooner. The Greeting Card Keeper is a 8 inch by 9 inch (3 ring binder) with a beautiful suede like cover. Inside are 25 special Memory Sleeves. The cards are loaded from the top into a special protector that is designed to allow the card to be opened without removing the protector. Greeting Card Keepers come in two sizes and many colors. May I also add that it is a sturdy binder. Mine fell on the tile floor and did not spring open.

Stampers, card makers and scrapbookers will love the way the book can hold and display cards and tags. Stamp demonstrators can display cards and tags in the book at shows and home parties using this very professional, yet sturdy binder. I did have some 6" x 6" cards that did not fit in the keeper but traditional sized cards will.

Christmas Cards are something that I keep. Right now they are in a box. I am delighted to have a solution for my Christmas cards. I can slide them in a book and label the year. I especially love the greetings and the family photos. My great grandmother loved to look at her cards. She would have loved this Greeting Card Keeper.

Getting married? Having a special birthday, anniversary or party? Keep the cards in a special keeper and reread them anytime. Memory Keepers does have special albums for weddings but you could decorate it and make it really special.

I find the Greeting Card Keeper to be a terrific invention. I will definitely give it my highest recommendation. I think it is useful, well made and would make a terrific gift. I plan on giving one to my mom and mother-in-law (who both turn 70) this year, and to my brother and his new wife for their wedding.

I received an ingenious Greeting Card Keeper from Card Memories. What a neat product! The album cover is 8 ½ by 10 inches and comes with 25 Memory Sleeves. The Memory Sleeves are what makes this product truly unique. Not only are you allowed to slide your cards into protective sleeves, but unlike regular protectors, they allow you to place a greeting card in them so you can see both the outside and the inside of the card.

As a paper crafter, I like to make my own cards, but I will often make only the front, and later, attach it t o a card body when I am ready to send it. This way, it takes up a lot less space. So I used the Memory sleeves a little differently than the intended use and placed my card front in it. I am able to store eight 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inch cards in one Memory Sleeve or four 6 x 6 inch cards in one Memory Sleeve. This is much better than the shoe box I was using!

The Greeting Card Keeper album I received was white and unadorned so I chose to "alter" it a bit with some Mod Podge and patterned paper as shown below.
