Do you love the look of paint chips, but hate the fact that some may have printing on them? Have you always wondered if you could remove that printing but wasn't sure how?
I hope this article will help you use those paint chips that you may have lying around from your last or current home remodeling projects. We all have a few of these paint chips stashed somewhere.
You will need the following items:
1. Paint chips (use the ones you picked up on your last trip looking for that new paint for your room) and
2. A Magic Rub Eraser by Sanford.
If you don't have one of those erasers that is shown in the picture above, check your local office supply store. Staples sells the eraser in a 3 pack in their pencil/pen aisle. Also the art department of places like Michael's and Hobby Lobby may also carry them.
How to remove the printing:
Using the eraser, apply a little pressure and just erase the printing off the paint chip. It's that easy!!
Other ideas: You can erase all the printing from the paint chip or leave some of the paint names on there if it pertains to something in your layout. You can even print or stamp on them. Add whatever you'd like.
** Be sure to spray with Archival Mist if you are using these anywhere near your photos as the acidity of these are unknown.
