Organizing Silk Flowers

Besides being pretty to look at, silk Flowers are pretty embellishments to use on layouts, tags, cards, and more; but storing them can cause some headaches.
Instead of squishing them into plastic organizer boxes like I once did, I now use wide mouth, quart size canning jars to store my flowers in.
I use one jar for each color group I have: blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow, as well as using one jar for leaves/greenery.
This is the jar with the orange flowers in it.

There is just something about those jars filled with the pretty colors of the silk flowers and all lined up on my shelf.

So if you want to brighten up your scrap area, consider storing your silk flowers in glass jars. You can either buy a case of wide mouth canning jars in stores, or watch thrift stores and yard sales for them. Easy way to brighten up your scrap area and they are pretty to look at.
