Fabric Swatches Have You in a Frazzle?

Fabric is a hot scrapbook embellishment right now and the strips of frayed fabric can lend anywhere from a soft, feminine touch to a dramatic flair to your project. But keeping those frazzles (fabric frayed on the edges) under control and easily as well as readily available can pose an organizing challenge.
Are you someone who tosses those frazzles into a drawer only to have to dig through them when you want to use one and in the process you get frustrated because you have to do just that to find that perfect one?
There is a simple solution to your dilemna.
All you will need is:
* your stash of frazzles
* cardboard or chipboard
* a cutting system and
* a drawer (or other storage system) to store your
frazzles in once you have them under control

Begin by gathering your frazzles and other items above.
Cut a strip of cardboard or chipboard approximately 2" wide and about 7 inches long (shorter or longer depending on the length of your storage system (drawer).

Once you have that cut, just wrap your frazzle around the cardboard/chipboard strip and secure with a piece of tape.
Store your now wrapped frazzles upright in a drawer, etc. so that you can easily and readily see them.

This drawer fits into a 3-drawer, desktop organizer that is available for less than $5 from such places at Walmart, Dollar General Store, etc. and is similar to this one...
