Organizing most used supplies

Iīm a rookie scrapper and my scrapbooking budget isnīt as big as I want. Thatīs why Iīm always looking for easy and cheap ideas to storage my scrap supplies. A few days ago I realized that half of my scrap area was invaded with my most used supplies, things I need everytime I scrap: pens scissors, ruler, craft knife, adhesive, etc., I had to something about it!!! Finally I have an idea to organize and keep them close to my scrap area. You will need:

Cardboard tubes (found inside of toilet paper). Get enough tubes to fill half of the box.
Small box, height shoud be slightly bigger than the cardboard tubes.
Patterned or solid paper to decorate
Aleeneīs original tacky glue

1.Cut the upper side of the box.

2.Cover the sides of the box with the paper to decorate.

3.Glue the cardboard tubes inside the box. Make sure to glue together the tubes. If you want you can fill the entire box with cardboard tubes but I donīt recommend it because some scrap supplies doesnīt fit the tubes, for example the Un-du and the Fiskars circle cutter.

4.Put ribbons, monograms, pieces of fabric, buttons, charms or whatever you want to make your box not only handy but also pretty. I wanted a rustic look on my box so I chose not to put embellishment on it. Instead I crumbled a piece of solid paper, then I uncrumpled it and rubbed the Fire Brick Distressing Ink all over the paper. Finally I lightly ironed the paper, cut the paper in several strips and glued them to the box. To finish the look I sandpapered the box. All the process took me less than one hour and a half, and most of the supplies used to make it were recycled.

5.And voilā!, the final result
