Handstamped Memory Game for Children

Do you remember those little memory card games that you played with as a child or your children or grandchildren play with now? They were and still are great to build a child's memory skill with. Now you can make them to give as gifts with the scrap supplies you have on hand.

You will need:

A stamp pad(s) in your choice of color(s)
Large square punch
12 image stamps
1 sheet of cardstock, large scraps or 3 border blocks (color of choice)
Begin by selecting your stamps you wish to use. Be sure they are not too large for your punched square.

After you have your stamps selected, begin punching squares from the cardstock. You will need 24 squares total.

Once those squares are punched out, stamp onto them with your stamps. You will need two stamped images from the same stamp so you will have two squares (or cards) the same.

Variations to this:

1. Stamp onto the cardstock first and then punch the stamped images out but you will need to space the images far enough apart to do this.

2. Use a large circle punch instead of a square punch

3. You can choose to color the images with pens and markers or leave them as is.
