ScrapFriends Classes
Journaling by Tammy Malone
Welcome to "Ink What'cha Think!". Most of you already know me, but for those who don't, my name is Tammy and I'll be helping you to "put in ink, what you think".
First I'd like to say that I am proud of you for taking that initial step to inquire about this class. Journaling is never a popular subject, but it truly is the heart of all of our art projects whether it is scrapbooking or various forms of altered art. We can have the most beautiful projects but if our story is never told then all we have is a piece of art. The projects you create are about more than art - it is about your life - your experiences - it is who you are and what you want to pass down to future generations.
I know that journaling can be intimidating for most of us, but it doesn't have to be. My desire for you is to learn to set your writing fears aside and discover how journaling can be a vital portion of each layout or art project that you create.
What if you are not intimidated by journaling; instead you like journaling - is this class still for you??? Of course it is! I believe you will find inspiration and be able to add a fresh touch to your journaling in this class.
You are going to need the following supplies:
- A notebook; set up a Journaling Folder on your computer; or use the ScrapFriends (or your own personal) blog. This will be for taking notes, writing down ideas, memories, or whatever may need to be recorded.
- Photos - past and present
- Scrapbooking and Art Supplies
- A desire to have FUN!!
Week 1 - Taking A Look At Your Photos
Week 2 - Telling the True/Real Story
Week 3 - Letting Our Photo's Speak
Week 4 - Pulling It All Together

The "Ink What'cha Think!" class will start with some basics and gradually increase to stretch your creative writing skills. My goal is to get you beyond the "who, what, when, and where's" and begin looking at your photos in a different light by focusing on the important aspects or major highlights of the event.
I look forward to seeing you in class - don't forget to "Ink What'cha Think!"
