How to Alter a Picture Frame
by Mandi Miller

Supplies Needed:
Cutter
Mod Podge
Picture Frame
Cardstock or Patterned paper of you choice
Paint Brush
Chipboard letters
Ribbon
ink
scissors
sandpaper
stickers(if you desire....I ended up not using them)

Step 1: Choose the paper desired and cut to fit the frame. I took a pencil and rubbed the paper against the edge to find my borders and then cut the 2 pieces to fit. Use your cutter to get straight lines.

Step 2: Spread modge podge onto frame and attach cut paper to frame. Rub out any bubbles you may have. Let dry.

Step 3: Once it's dry, sand edges to take off any excess paper to the edge of the frame.

Step 4: Add a layer of modge podge on top of the paper. Let dry.

Step 5: While that's drying dress up your chipboard with ink. I inked the top of my white letters with Green ink and then Blue ink and then took a brush and lightly mixed the two colors.

Step 6: Attach Ribbon and modge podge the base ribbon(not the tie itself) to the frame.

Step 7: Attach the chipboard letters to the frame by applying modge podge to the bottom of the letters. Let dry.
