Creating Scalloped Edges with a Corner Rounder
by Karen Day

September 3, 2008

Here's a fun technique that creates scalloped edges using a corner rounder. You can use any size corner rounder punch to create a scallop, so gather up some cardstock or patterned paper and a corner rounder.

1. For this technique to work you will need a corner rounder where the "wings" come off. I am using the corner rounder by EK Success. I will be making a layout so I have gathered my papers, pictures and embellishments together.

2. Start by removing the "wings" from the corner rounder. This is what guides the paper in so that the corners are rounded. We are wanting to be able to use the punch straight on, not on the corner.

3. Create the first scallop about an inch from the left hand side of the page.

4. Through the hole in the bottom of the punch you can see where your last scallop ended. You are going to line up the new punch with where the old one ended.

5. Continue punching until the whole edge of your paper is punched. Now you have a scallop edge on your paper.

6. Add your scalloped edged paper to your project.
