Review by Randi
All those inept at drawing a straight line with glue stand up with me and say "GUILTY!" I absolutely loved using this two-sided tape for borders and lines on my cards and layouts. The glitter sticks to it and you're done! You don't have the drying time or possible mess associated with using a wet glue.

Review by SarahThe Art Institute Sticky Tape: A Glittering Basic Essential
Sticky Tape is a 1/8" wide, double-stick tape designed by The Art Institute especially with glittering in mind. It dispenses right off the roll with an upper vinyl-type covering attached. This covering makes Sticky Tape easy to work with since you only have to cope with one sticky side at a time. This vinyl-like covering is also easy to remove.
Sticky Tape presents a super easy way to apply a perfect line of adhesive, which in turn creates a completely perfect line of glitter. I am very impressed with how professional this product looks in action. It also has the capacity for holding more than just glitter – on the page below I tried out a new look with herbal tea!
Supplies: Brown Cardstock
K & Company (12x12 Antiquity 4 Color Flat Vellum)
Ranger (Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Vintage Photo)

While I was happy with Sticky Tape’s overall performance, I would still like to see a little more stick to this product. Small amounts of glitter do come off the tape when handled. It is slight, but a bit more than I would like. Still, Sticky Tape is a great product and one that I will use whenever I want to create a really professional-looking line of glitter.
In Summary: Sticky Tape makes it easy to produce perfect, professional glitter applications, and even has the ability to adhere unusual items. An essential tool for glittering!
Review by RachelI received 2 rolls of Sticky Tape from the Art Institute. It comes in two sizes ¼ inch and 1/8 inch. The Art Glitter site lists the price of the Sticky Tape at $6.50. This tape is so easy to use. It can be used for making borders, geometrical shapes, or just to add a bit of pizzazz to your project. It is very durable and once it sticks, it is not coming back up without tearing your paper.
I used the Sticky Tape to make a border around Pooh & Piglet in the following layout. It helps to make this cute stamped image pop right off the page.

Review by CathyArt Glitter Double-Sided Sticky Tape is a fantastic product. I have been using this tape for several years. The package comes with a roll of 1/8" tape and a roll of 1/4" tape. Using the tape is easy. Measure the size you want and cut it with a scissors. This tape has a very strong hold. I have used it to adhere glitter, beads, metal, buttons, ribbon, fibers and paper. I recommend it highly. The advantage to using the Art Glitter Double-Sided Sticky Tape with the Art Glitter is that it is possible to make a straight line of glitter. This method would work equally as well with micro beads. In the tag below, I have used the 1/4" Double-Sided Sticky tape to make two glitter strips across the tag.

Review by KathleenI received a package of 1/8 inch Sticky Tape from Art Institute. The package holds two rolls of the tape. I personally love double-sided sticky tape. It is so easy to use and you can attach so many different embellishments to it. The glitter from Art Institute adhered beautifully.
For the following project, I used a 12 inch strip of the Sticky Tape to create a border across the middle of my page. While I could use the Sticky Tape to attach my flowers first, I opted to glitter the whole strip first and then attach the flowers with glue dots. I was pleased that the glue dots stuck to the glitter without any problem.

For a retail cost of around $6.50 per package, this Sticky Tape from Art Institute is a nice addition to your scrapbooking
tool box. Art Institute also offers the Sticky Tape in a ¼ inch width as well with no increase in cost. I have double stick
tape in other sized widths, but this is the first I have seen in the 1/8 inch width and I love it. The two rolls will go
a long way in your scrapbooking and card making and also make adding glitter to your projects a snap.
